The
Mönch Publishing Group, the global leader in defence
publications, created its Turkish subsidiary in view of
the growing importance of this pillar of peace and stability
as a regional power. In 1987, Mönch Media Turkey,
in turn, created the only technically specialized defence
and aerospace magazine in Turkey, Savunma
ve Havacılık, in a move to provide a forum of technical
information to the fast developing and expanding defence
and defence industry, aerospace and aviation activities
of Turkey and the world. Since 1987, Savunma ve Havacılık
has been successfully serving Turkish Defence Industry experts
through detailing and reporting on the international activities
in the defence field, and projecting those onto the requirements
of the Turkish Armed Forces and the national goal of establishing
an industrial defence capability in high technologies. Savunma
ve Havacılık has established itself as an official source
of reference to the military and industrial experts of Turkey.
With its large circulation and targeted distribution, Savunma
ve Havacılık is today well established and respected as
an independent source of reference. Savunma ve Havacılık entered its 20th year of publication in 2006 with special issue.
In cooperation with and upon the request of the Turkish General Staff, Mönch Media Turkey has published the bilingual Turkish Armed Forces Book, in three editions [1995, 1999, 2003] introducing the Turkish Armed Forces to the world at large. Preparations are now underway for the 4th edition, which shall be delivered to the Turkish General Staff in November 2006.
2005 saw the 20th Anniversary of the Turkish Undersecretariat of Defence Industry (SSM), which was celebrated in November 2005 with the 'SSM-2005 International Defence Industry Conference,' organised by Mönch Media Turkey on behalf of the SSM. Over 30 distinguished speakers from all over the world took part, and following the event, Mönch Media Turkey produced an book to mark the event containing the presentations of all the speakers.
Mönch Media Turkey also serves the defence industries of Turkey in photography, all varieties of graphics and/or design and printing services, as well as creative artwork for brochures, presentations and all forms of printed matter. |
