Bir KoÁ Grubu şirketi olan Otokar, Türkiye'nin en eski otomotiv
sanayi şirketlerinden birisidir. 40 yıldır hafif ticari
vasıta sınıfında araÁ geliştirme ve üretimi ile ilgili faaliyet
gösteren Otokar, 1986 yılından itibaren Land Rover lisansı
altında askeri amaÁlı taktik araÁ imalatına başlamıştır.
Yılların tecrübesi ve CAD/CAM gibi modern sistemlerin desteği
ile Otokar kendine özgü zırhlı taktik araÁ dizayn ve üretim
teknolojisini geliştirmiştir.

Towards
a Prosperous Future
Otokar,
a subsidiary of KoÁ Group, is one of the oldest automotive
companies in Turkey. Otokar has been developing and manufacturing
light commercial vehicles for 40 years and armoured and
non-armoured military vehicles under licence from Land Rover
for 17 years. Today, Otokar is the main supplier of 4x4
light tactical vehicles to the Turkish Armed Forces [TAF]
and has developed its own armoured vehicle design and manufacturing
technology.
