TraDoc Infantry Weapon Symposium
The
TAF has selected the HK-33E as their new-generation assault
rifle to replace the G-3 infantry rifles. The HK-33E has
been manufactured under license from Heckler & Koch
by MKEK. However, due to some problems TAF is now planning
to end production of the HK-33E and obtain a more up to
date weapon in the near future. In the light of this development
Turkish Land Forces Training and Doctrine Command [TraDoc]
organized the 'Light Infantry Weapon Symposium' between
23-24 October, 2002 in Ankara.
