Kuzey Avrupa Müttefik Kuvvetleri Bölge Karargahı [RHQ AFNORTH],
Güney Taarruz Filosu, Güney Doğu Birleşik Komutanlığı ve Türk
Genelkurmay Karargahından üst düzey personelin katılımıyla
oluşturulan birleşik ve müşterek bir ekip tarafından üÁ aydan
daha kısa bir süre zarfında planlanan ve NATO Mukabele Kuvveti
[NMK/NRF]'nin ilk demonstrasyonu olan Allied Response '03
Tatbikatı, 20 Kasım 2003 tarihinde ızmir'in Doğanbey bölgesinde
NMK 1 ve 2'ye bağlı unsurlarca icra edildi.
Aralarında BelÁika, «ek Cumhuriyeti, Danimarka, Fransa, Almanya,
Yunanistan, ıtalya, NorveÁ, Polonya, ıspanya, Türkiye ve ıngiltere'nin
de bulunduğu 12 NATO üyesi ülkeden askeri personelin görev
aldığı tatbikat, 300 dolayında üst düzey konuk ve basın mensubu
tarafından ilgiyle takip edildi. |

Response '03 Exercise and the NRF
Planned
in less than three months by a combined and joint team of
staff officers from SHAPE, RHQ AFNORTH, Strike Fleet South,
Joint Command South East, and the Turkish General Staff,
Exercise Allied Response 03, the first NATO Response Force
[NRF] demonstration was conducted in November 2003 at ½zmir
by elements of NRF 1 and 2.
Forces from 12 NATO nations, including Belgium, the Czech
Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Norway,
Poland, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom, participated
in the demonstration, which was attended by some 300 VIPs
and press representatives.
