Systems
of the Future: Unmanned Air Vehicles
In
recent times, reports from areas of tension and conflict,
from Kosovo to Afghanistan, have routinely included the
successes of the Predator reconnaissance and surveillance
unmanned air vehicle [UAV] system. S&H visited the facilities
of Predator's producer, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems
Inc [GA-ASI], located in San Diego, to obtain some specific
information about their product line, technological developments
in the UAV field and their activities in Turkey.
