Helikopter Modernizasyonu ve Aselsan
Milli Savunma Bakanlığı ıÁ Tedarik Daire Başkanlığı ile Aselsan
arasında 2001 yılında imzalanan anlaşma ÁerÁevesinde hayata
geÁirilen Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı [KKK] Helikopter Aviyonik
Sistem Modernizasyon Projesi kapsamında aviyonik ve yapısal
modernizasyonu tamamlanan ilk S-70A BlackHawk ve AH-1W SuperCobra
helikopterleri 9 Haziran 2003 tarihinde Aselsan'ın Akyurt
Tesislerinde düzenlenen bir törenle Aselsan Genel Müdürü Necip
Kemal BERKMAN tarafından KKK adına Kara Kuvvetleri [KK] Kurmay
Başkanı Orgeneral ılker BAŞBUĞ'a teslim edildi.

Helicopter Modernization and Aselsan
After
the completion of the avionics and structural modernization,
Aselsan General Manager Necip Kemal BERKMAN delivered the
first S-70A BlackHawk and AH-1W SuperCobra helicopters [prototypes]
to Turkish Land Forces Chief of Staff General ılker BAŞBUĞ
in the name of TLFC on June 09, 2003, at Aselsan's Akyurt
facilities in Ankara. These works are being carried out
for the first time in Turkey as part of the Turkish Land
Forces Command [TLFC] Helicopter Avionic System Modernization
Project. The Helicopter Avionic System Modernization Project
was signed in 2001 between the Head of Internal Procurement
Department of the Ministry of National Defence and Aselsan,
and covered the modernization of the structure and avionics
systems of 13 BlackHawk, nine SuperCobra and 27 Cobra helicopters,
being modernized by Aselsan and 5th Main Maintenance Centre
Command.
