Armoured
School and Training Division Command
In
spite of rapid developments, no weapons or weapon systems
have ever successfully been able to take the place of or
accomplish missions historically carried out by the main
battle tank [MBT]. The Armoured Forces, the strike force
and lethal weapon of the Turkish Army, increasingly feel
the necessity for MBTs equipped with all the latest technology
to eliminate threat. Major General Servet Y÷RİK, Commander
of the Armoured School and Training Division Command, talks
to S&H on the Armoured School, the Training Division
and the future of the MBT.
