Savunma Sanayi Müsteşarlığı [SSM] ile Alman Lürssen Werft/Abeking&Rasmussen
Konsorsiyumu arasında 1999 yılında imzalanan kontrat gereğince
sürdürülen A-Sınıfı Mayın Avlama Gemisi [MAG] Projesi kapsamında
inşası ıstanbul Tersanesi Komutanlığı'nca gerÁekleştirilen
TCG Amasra [M-266] 10 Mayıs 2004 Pazartesi günü düzenlenen
bir tören ile denize indirildi. |

Launches TCG Amasra
On
May 10, TCG Amasra [M-266], the second of six A-Class [MHV-54
014] Mine Hunter Vessels [MHV] for Turkish Naval Forces
Command [TNFC], was launched during a ceremony at the ıstanbul
Naval Shipyards Command of the TNFC.
TCG Amasra [M-266] is the first MHV built under license
from Fr. Lürssen Werft [FLW] and Abeking & Rasmussen
[A&R] of Germany under the Mine Hunter Vessel Programme.
The third and fourth vessels in the programme, TCG Ayvalık
[M-267] and TCG AkÁakoca [M-268], are currently under construction
at ıstanbul Shipyards Command.
