Hedefimiz:
Stratejik ve ÷zgün Bir Sanayi Altyapısı
Savunma Sanayi Müsteşarlığı [SSM]'nın kuruluşundan bu yana
geÁen 19 yıllık süre zarfında, gerek Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri
[TSK]'nin modern ekipmanla teÁhiz edilmesi, gerekse Türk savunma
sanayinin geliştirilmesi hedefleri istikametinde büyük mesafeler
katedilmiş ve hayati öneme haiz alanlarda somut neticeler
elde edilmiştir. Söz konusu hedeflerin temelini tekil eden
TSK'nin ihtiyaÁlarının yurtiÁinden karşılanması maksadıyla;
her birisi kendi alanında önemli bir boşluğu dolduran kilit
nitelikteki savunma sanayi kuruluşları faaliyete geÁirilmiştir.

Our
Goal: A Strategic and Indigenous Industry Infrastructure
In
the 19 years since its establishment and as a result of
the dedicated efforts of the Defence Industry Undersecretariat
[SSM], important progress has been realised in the creation
of a modern national defence industry infrastructure in
Turkey, with highly successful results in certain vital
areas. Several national defence industrial institutions
have been established that have played key roles in meeting
the requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces [TAF] through
local contributions, which is the main goal of the SSM.
Defence Industry Undersecretary Murad BAYAR talks to S&H
on the SSM's current activities and provides updates on
the current programmes, as well as plans for the future.
